Take a minute today to plan out how you will proclaim your Valentine's Day love - to YOURSELF.
I'll leave you with a few ideas to get you started:
- Make a list of reasons why you love yourself. Go ahead, compliment yourself.
- Change your alarm clock to music that you really dig. Start your morning off with a song that makes you smile.
- Be sure to move and sweat on Valentine's Day. It's the best way to give your body some love.
- Make this your commitment to truly begin living with compassion for everyone that crosses your path. Everyone has their own story and journey. We must respect this even when dealing with situations that seem unpleasant.
- Cook yourself a healthy meal.
- Check off something that's been on your to-do list for a while. It will feel so good.
- Shut off your phone/email for one hour and read a book.
- Call your parents.
- Go to a dog park and play with man's best friend. This will surely get you feeling good. (If you like dogs, that is.)
- Get a massage. That's what I'll be doing!
